🌸 CHALLENGE 139 🌸
Known. Loved. Chosen. • Mind • Body • Soul
August 8–14, 2026 | Psalm 139:7–12
“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?”
Psalm 139:7 KJV
Have you ever felt alone even while surrounded by people? Week Two reminds us that there is no room, road, season, disappointment, or dark place where God cannot reach us. His presence is not limited by geography or circumstance.
This week, we will practice noticing God—not only in worship and celebration, but in traffic, work, waiting, weariness, and uncertainty. Wherever we go, He is already there.
🌸 Our Seven-Day Journey
Day 8 — August 8: Where Can I Go?
Read Psalm 139:7. God’s presence is not something you have to earn; it is a promise you can receive.
Reflect: When are you most likely to feel far from God? Invite Him into that situation today.
Day 9 — August 9: God in the High Places
Read Psalm 139:8. God is with you in seasons of joy, achievement, and spiritual strength.
Action: Celebrate one blessing without minimizing it. Thank God out loud.
Day 10 — August 10: God in the Low Places
The same verse assures us that God is present in grief, disappointment, and the places we never planned to visit.
Reflect: Name one difficult place where you need to recognize God’s presence.
Day 11 — August 11: Even at the Farthest Sea
Read Psalm 139:9. Distance does not weaken God’s love or cancel His assignment for your life.
Action: Step outdoors, look toward the horizon, and pray: “Lord, wherever You lead, help me trust that You are there.”
Day 12 — August 12: His Hand Will Lead Me
Read Psalm 139:10. God’s hand leads and holds. We can release the need to control every detail.
Reflect: What are you trying to control that needs to be placed back into God’s hands?
Day 13 — August 13: When Darkness Feels Heavy
Read Psalm 139:11. Darkness may affect what you can see, but it never affects God’s ability to see and hold you.
Action: Reach out to one trusted person instead of carrying a heavy feeling alone.
Day 14 — August 14: Darkness Is Light to God
Read Psalm 139:12. What feels unclear to you is fully visible to God.
Reflect: Where have you seen God bring light, direction, or comfort this week?
