Challenge 139 — Week 1: Known by God

🌸 CHALLENGE 139 🌸

Known. Loved. Chosen. • Mind • Body • Soul

August 1–7, 2026 | Psalm 139:1–6

“O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.”

Psalm 139:1 KJV

Welcome to Week One of our 139-day journey! We begin with a truth that can change how we see ourselves: God knows us completely. He sees beyond the smile, the title, the responsibility, and the version of ourselves we present to everyone else. He knows our thoughts, our fears, our hopes, and the places that still need healing—and He loves us still.

This week is an invitation to stop hiding and rest in the safety of being known by God. We do not have to perform for Him. We can come honestly, because nothing about us surprises the One who created us.

🌸 Our Seven-Day Journey

Day 1 — August 1: God Has Searched Me

Read Psalm 139:1 slowly. God’s searching is not meant to shame you; it is the loving attention of a Father who wants you whole.

Reflect: What part of your life have you been afraid to let God examine? Write a short, honest prayer inviting Him into that place.

Day 2 — August 2: Known in the Ordinary

Read Psalm 139:2. God sees your sitting down and rising up—the ordinary moments that others overlook.

Reflect: Where did you notice God in an ordinary moment today? Record one small sign of His care.

Day 3 — August 3: He Understands My Thoughts

God understands the thought before you can fully explain it. You can bring Him the anxious, confused, or wandering thoughts without pretending.

Action: Write down one recurring thought. Beside it, write a truth from Scripture that speaks peace to it.

Day 4 — August 4: God Knows My Ways

Read Psalm 139:3. Our habits reveal the paths we travel again and again.

Reflect: Which daily habit draws you closer to wholeness? Which one may be draining your mind, body, or soul?

Day 5 — August 5: My Words Matter

Read Psalm 139:4. God knows our words before they are spoken. Today, let your words bring life.

Action: Speak one sincere word of encouragement to yourself and one to another woman.

Day 6 — August 6: Surrounded by God

Read Psalm 139:5. God goes before you, stands behind you, and keeps His hand upon you.

Action: Take a quiet ten-minute walk. With each step, thank God for surrounding you with His presence.

Day 7 — August 7: Wonderful Knowledge

Read Psalm 139:6. You do not have to understand everything to trust the God who understands you.

Reflect: What have you learned about yourself and God this week?

🙏🏽 Closing Prayer

Lord, thank You for knowing me completely and loving me faithfully. Search every part of me with gentleness and truth. Help me release the masks, labels, and fears that keep me from living as the woman You created me to be. Teach me to rest in Your care and walk honestly before You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
