“Are You Up to the Challenge?”

Welcome to Challenge 139:  The Complete Woman-Mind, Body, and Soul.  The Spirit of God planted the seed within me to encourage women to be whole, healed, and complete.  Sometimes in life, we reach a point where we feel that we have done all we can to improve ourselves but we still feel that something is missing. We feel incomplete, useless, and broken.

Well, I recently experienced this within my own life.  I was faced with dealing with the “demons” in my life both past and present.  Those things that stopped me from maturing in my Christian walk and growing as a woman of God.  I wasn’t whole and it wasn’t until I reached near breakdown mode that I realized it.  I had it all together-a mother of 3, the wife of a Pastor, and a women’s’ ministry director-of course I had it all together.

The fact that I convinced myself of that was proof alone that I was not complete.  When you have to convince yourself and others that you can hold it altogether then that is a clear picture of self-destruction.  Beginning each day with the self-prepared and memorized speech that “Today will be a great day no matter what”-all the while crumbling in the inside.

There is no reason for me to sugar coat it.  But just think about it, what is keeping you from screaming out loud for help, or what makes you think that you have all together.  You are only deceiving yourself and destroying yourself.  Self-destruction takes us to a place where we degrade ourselves, we discourage ourselves, and we destroy the who we are in God.  If this happens then you cannot be the woman that God created you to be.

He made us to be great women and to carry out the purpose that started in the Garden. Somewhere along the way you’ve lost who you are. Your confidence has been beaten and you feel that you are no longer relevant.

Take the journey with me as I take it day by day -commit to Challenge 139 of transformation! This transformation involves rediscovering who you are, whose your are, and whom you are.

We will do this together…
