Praying for Spiritual Strength
Ephesians 3:14-19
14. For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15. from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16. that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17. that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, 18. may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, 19. to know the love and Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
As a Christian prayer must be vital and essential in your life. You must pray without ceasing {1Thessalonians 5:17} Paul exhorts the Thessalonians to maintain a faithful prayer life like his own. Praying without ceasing does not mean to pray constantly but it does mean to be persistent and consistent in your prayer life. This will certainly bring spiritual strength in your life. If for some reason you may be feeling spiritually weak please don’t hesitate to pray and ask your Heavenly Father for spiritual strength. As a believer you must pray for spiritual strength so you can become strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. This will bring assurance and a woman of great strength spiritually.
When you are a woman of prayer you become a woman of preparation, because through prayer God will prepare you for every aspect and everything in your life. If you ever read the Book of Proverbs this Virtuous woman girded her loins with strength and strengthen her arms. She was defiantly a woman of prayer. Prayer takes the intimate relationship with God and it causes you to be empowered, encouraged and enlightened through the Holy Spirit. This strength comes only from Almighty God. Through this strength you are able to do all things through Christ which strengthens you.
I know during the pandemic, people are dying, there are those who have lost their jobs, this is a season of sufferings, difficulties, trials, tribulations, pains or whatever the circumstances and problems may be don’t be afraid to commune with God with a sincere heart and He will certainly strengthen you.
